User Experience (UX) refers to a person's emotions and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service. It includes the practical, experiential, affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of human–computer interaction and product ownership. The process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product forms an integral part of UX.

The term User Experience was coined by Don Norman in the mid-1990s while he was vice president of the Advanced Technology Group at Apple. He devised the term to cover all aspects of the person's experience with a system, including industrial design, graphics, the interface, the physical interaction, and the manual.
